When I arrive at Jolly Minds, I say goodbye to my parents and hello to my friends and my childminder, Sone. I hang my coat up on my peg and change into my indoor shoes. I then find my name card on the board in the corridor and put it on the name board in the playroom. 

Breakfast is between 8am and 8.30am. I can usually choose between cereal or toast and can have either  have a drink of milk or water. I can go and play with my friends, if I have already had breakfast at home.

I take part in adult led activities in the morning. There is always lots of different equipment on offer for me play with and learn from. I can  play in the garden area, learn about mark making or matching colours and shapes with the small world equipment. I use my imagination through role play and learn to recognise numbers and count through stories and singing.

One of my favourite activities is the malleable activity, where I get very messy whilst learning about texture and explore using my senses. 

My friends and I will also sit down and sing songs, tell stories and talk about the words arounds us.

Morning snack time:

After washing my hands, I can help myself to fruit, milk or water.

Afternoon snack time:

If the weather permits, my friends and I can have our snacks in the picnic area in the garden.

Lunch time:

I sit around the table with my friends to eat my lunch. It is a great time to talk about the fun I had in the morning session.

Tea time:

I help my friends to tidy up ready for tea time, sometimes I even get to help Sone to make it. We sit around the table and share our thoughts about the fun we had in the afternoon.

I am so excited when my grown up comes to pick me up from Jolly Minds. I get to tell them all about my day and show off my creations with pride.
